Brian is a Quantity Surveyor with over 10 years’ experience in the engineering and construction industry. He has a wealth of commercial and contractual experience gained from working on a diverse range of complex residential, hotels and leisure, commercial and retail, infrastructure, power and regeneration and engineering projects in the Middle East, Australia, the UK and Ireland.
Brian commenced his career in Ireland working within a private practice where he provided a full range of pre and post contract quantity surveying services before moving to the UK to work with a civil engineering contracting company. He has been based permanently in the UAE since 2015.
With a significant knowledge of the various forms of standard contract including the FIDIC suite (including amended FIDIC forms), Brian has worked as a Commercial / Claims Consultant on numerous large-scale projects in the UAE and elsewhere in the Middle East, including in the hotels and leisure and oil & gas sectors, as well as on social infrastructure projects including a museum and schools.
