Brian Fitzgerald is a Vice President in J.S. Held’s New York office. He has over 15 years of experience in investigative and forensic accounting. Mr. Fitzgerald specializes in the financial evaluation of damage claims involving business interruption, lost profits, inventory, product liability, and builder's risk. He has also provided analysis of business valuation, personal injury, death, and employment discharge cases.

Prior to joining J.S. Held, Brian was a partner at Magnan Graizzaro & Associates CPAs, where he worked with insurers, lawyers and companies across a wide range of industries, quantifying large, complex losses in insurance and liability. He has handled engagements in North America, South America, Europe, Asia and Africa, and has worked on high-profile matters such as the Superstorm Sandy insurance claim for the New York Metropolitan Transportation Authority.

Brian is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Villanova University. He is involved in several professional organizations, including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Forensic and Valuation Services Group, and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).
