Brandon Davis has over 15 years of experience in building construction, structural design, and forensic engineering. As a forensic engineer, Brandon provides expertise in the resolution of civil- and structural-related incidents, including those resulting from wind, flood, fire, hail, settlement, blasting operations, and vehicle and tree impacts. Brandon has also rendered expert opinions on construction defects and building code compliance.
Prior to joining J.S. Held, Brandon worked as a structural design engineer. In this role, Brandon’s primary focus was the protective design of U.S. Foreign Embassy buildings, including those located in Asia, Europe, and Africa.
Brandon’s experience is enhanced by over five years of service as an Engineer Office in the active-duty Army. His many assignments included service as a construction supervisor while deployed in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom and as Commander of a Basic Training company at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri.
Brandon graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 2006 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 2012 with a Master’s Degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering. Brandon holds professional engineering licenses in multiple states.
