Ben Marcus has been actively involved in the construction industry for 20 years. He began his career working for a general contractor in New York as a field superintendent and quickly rose to the title of project manager where he managed a variety of new construction projects in the educational and hospitality industry.
For the last twelve years, Ben has worked as an owner’s representative, providing a wide range of services to clients in the greater NYC area. As an owner’s representative, Ben managed both the design teams and contracting teams as well as managing the subcontractor bidding process, reviewing and recommending subcontractor awards, reviewing and negotiating change orders and claims, monitoring of the construction schedule and progress as well as reviewing and recommending the monthly payment applications. In addition, Ben is responsible for client communications, updating project budgets and providing monthly reports to the client.
