Anna Lam has over six years of combined experience in roadway design, structural bridge/culvert design, bridge inspections, and structural forensic investigations. She has performed investigations related to water intrusion, hurricanes, hail, tornadoes, fires, wind damage, structural failures and collapses, and foundation damage.
Prior to working in forensics, Anna worked as a bridge design engineer and bridge inspection team lead. As a design engineer, her roles have included performing analysis, superstructure and substructure design of highway bridges to applicable code and state/owner specifications, overseeing the plan development and QA/QC of her design projects to completion in coordination with CAD technicians. As a bridge inspection team lead, her roles have included providing thorough inspections identifying bridge conditions and defects, evaluating existing conditions and documenting findings in the field, planning and coordinating inspection trips between team members, analyzing data obtained in the field, and writing technical inspection reports.
Anna Lam, PE, performs forensic engineering assessments involving structural damage, retaining wall failures, water intrusion evaluations, flood damage, and wind and hail damage assessments to building envelopes and roof systems. She handles small residential and larger commercial loss assignments in the southeast U.S.
