Andrew J. Lonergan is a construction claims expert specializing in construction schedule delay and cost damage quantification analysis, claim entitlement, critical path scheduling, estimation of cost for repairs, and standard of care issues. He regularly consults on construction disputes and provides construction advisory services to contractors, subcontractors, owners, insurers, and attorneys. Andrew’s diverse experience includes commercial building construction and projects related to institutional, industrial, power, highway, and wastewater construction.

Prior to J.S. Held, Andrew was a Principal and Vice President with Demand Construction Services, Inc. Before transitioning into consulting, he began his career at Kellogg & Kimsey, Inc. and MAPP Construction, where he served as an estimator and project manager on various projects. Before graduating, Andrew gained field experience working in the residential and commercial construction industry.

Andrew holds a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management from the University of Florida. He has been an adjunct professor at the University of Denver, teaching project management, planning, and scheduling. Andrew has spoken on construction scheduling, cost, and claims.
