Ahmad is a Delay Analyst and Architect with over eleven years of experience in project planning, delay analysis, construction claims, ADR support, insurance claims, and risk management in the construction industry.
Ahmad has held project planning and delay analyst positions with contractors and consultants in the UAE and Egypt. His experience across a wide range of projects and locations has given him a valuable and flexible ability to respond to the many issues faced on today’s ever more complex projects.
Ahmad’s key skills are delay analysis and the preparation and defense of claims for extensions of time and disruption. He is well-versed in the industry standards advocated by the AACE, the SCL protocol, and others. He has prepared prospective and retrospective delay analyses using Impacted As-Planned, Time Impact Analysis, Time Slice Windows, As-Built, and other observational methods recognized in the industry.
His experience covers various sectors, including hotels and resorts, hospitals, schools, shopping malls, retail, residential buildings, mixed-use developments, high-rise towers, and infrastructure projects.
Ahmad is bilingual and has excellent written and oral abilities in Arabic and English. This skill and his legal qualification allow him to work closely with local and international law firms to provide technical construction advice, particularly delay analysis, on litigation disputes in the Middle East Courts.
