Aaron Nelson has managed the preparation of over 10,000 profit/loss analyses of individual and institutional securities accounts. Analyses include the calculation of profit/loss for equities, options, debt instruments, limited partnerships, mutual funds, futures, and other derivative investments. He has performed forensic securities account analysis for issues including portfolio turnover, commissions, trading costs, hypothetical portfolio performance, and other account statistics.
Aaron has served as an expert witness at arbitration and regulatory hearings before FINRA/NASD & NYSE.
Aaron has monitored the trading activity of publicly traded companies for instances of securities rule violations. He has investigated unusual trading patterns for possible occurrences of insider trading or securities market manipulations. He has conducted broker-dealer examinations of NASD members.
