Aaron Malatesta is a project manager for our seismic and forensic engineering groups. He is a licensed professional engineer with specialties in advanced structural analysis, multi-hazard risk assessment, and the implementation of energy dissipation devices.

After receiving a BS degree in Civil Engineering, Aaron earned his MS in Structural Engineering at Stanford University. He is a registered professional engineer in the US with experience in structural engineering and forensic investigations for buildings, bridges, and other structures.

Aaron provides structural engineering services concerning seismic evaluation, retrofit design, peer review, multi-hazard risk assessment, condition assessment, and structural repair. His forensic engineering experience includes failure analysis and evaluation of damages for various buildings, structural components, and foundation systems due to natural disasters, water, impact, or vibration. Legal counsel has retained Aaron to conduct forensic investigations into multiple complex projects to opine on the root cause of the failure and liability of the involved parties.
