JERICHO, N.Y. – January 7, 2021 – Global consulting firm J.S. Held announced today that it has acquired Forensic Engineering Technologies (FET). Founded in 2009 and headquartered in Central Florida, FET provides specialized accident investigation and reconstruction services, along with mechanical, biomechanical, electrical, structural, and civil engineering expertise. Additional FET expert services include product liability, premises liability, computer and digital forensics, and human factors.
In the field of accident reconstruction, FET’s experts are frequently retained to provide rapid response services to preserve critical transient physical evidence at the scene and from the involved vehicles, including passenger and commercial vehicle event data recording systems. The FET team features industry-leading subject matter experts who are engaged by insurance and legal clients for their extensive practical experience and expert services.

FET is involved in matters such as motor vehicle accidents, product failures, workplace accidents, fire events, and premises liability cases. The FET team also includes 8 FAA-certified drone pilots who will join J.S. Held’s roster of nearly 50 certified pilots across North America.
