J.S. Held's involvement included working with the Insured and industrial hygienists to reach an agreement on a necessary protocol for continued abatement and remediation that was loss related vs. pre-existing. We worked with the contractor, local consultants, and adjusters on the necessary repair scope and costs.
Challenges for this location included it’s locale and transportation of materials to the site. During the winter months, the ice road is available for transport and staging of equipment. However, during the summer months, a ferry or barge system was required.
