Warren J. Guillot, Jr., CSP, is a Certified Safety Professional with experiences in many areas of the occupational health, safety, and environmental industry. Warren’s experiences in occupational safety roles have led to his working knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations and various other industry related standards and best practices from standard deriving organizations such as National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), International Safety Equipment Association (ISEA), American National Standards Institute (ANSI), and others.

His experiences include: conducting both on-site regulatory compliance and behavior based safety audits; reviewing, updating, and overall development of health and safety programs policies and procedures including topics such as, but not limited to: isolation procedures for confined space entries, facility specific emergency response procedures, machine guarding, occupational noise, Hexavalent Chromium VI, contractor qualifications, bloodborne pathogens, Hazard Communications, and others. Additional safety experiences also cover: hazard recognition for the purposes of issuing safe work permits, hot work permits, and confined space entry permits in facilities covered by OSHA’s Process Safety Management (PSM) regulation; provided safety support and oversight for various clients during emergency response activities; and conducted compliance verification audits required by European Union (EU) Regulation No. 1257/2013 of the European Parliament for non-EU countries requesting permission to recycle EU flagged vessels.

As an industrial hygienist, Warren has conducted mold, lead, and asbestos inspections; many of which included the collection of samples, documentation of site conditions, interpretation of analytical results, and the development of written reports and remediation protocols. He has conducted remediation oversight activities and post remediation clearances.

Warren has participated in the visual assessments and determinations of pre-existing versus hurricane related damages. He has provided abatement oversights during the demolition of various buildings. He is experienced in investigating corrosive drywall installed in residential and commercial buildings. Warren’s industrial hygiene experience also includes real time air monitoring during emergency response activities, area air monitoring activates, and personal air monitoring. Warren has used data collected during air monitoring activities to determine the level of personnel protective equipment this is required to be worn during the associated situation. He has conducted, or worked as a part of a team which had conducted, indoor air quality assessments, moisture intrusion assessments, and provided clients with the associated reports and recommended corrective actions.

In addition to Warren’s Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) designation as a CSP, he also holds an Associate Safety Professional (ASP) certification (also from the BCSP), and is a Certified Occupational Safety Specialist (COSS). Warren is a Professional Member of the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE).
