He has conducted extensive environmental liability assessments for large and diverse clients, including a global fluorinated plastics manufacturer, a military-grade aeronautical optics manufacturer, and a specialty fast food paper manufacturer. Walker has also supported numerous environmental litigation projects, mainly as the technical lead and primary technical writer, helping to ensure expert reports are concise and technically defensible.
Walker is a Senior Hydrogeologist at J.S. Held, focused on environmental litigation support and liability assessment for various clients. He provides technical reviews of documents, supports legal counsel through witness depositions, assists in drafting subpoenas and discovery requests, advises on potential technical arguments and shortfalls, conducts historical research, and writes expert reports. Walker has a background in site investigation and remediation, as well as extensive experience addressing a wide range of contaminants. He recently leveraged his chemistry background to provide high-level environmental liability assessments for emerging contaminants, including PFAS.
