Thomas Carbon is an environmental health and safety specialist with project experience in the assessment of environmental hazards such as mold damage, smoke damage, lead inspections, asbestos-containing material inspections, and other hazards. Thomas’ involvement in these projects includes assisting in initial and post-field assessments; sample collection and interpretation of analytical data; remediation oversights, project monitoring, and documentation review; and assisting in the development of scopes of work, reports, and remediation/restoration protocol. Thomas has been involved in catastrophe and emergency response projects related to Hurricane Laura (2020), Hurricane Ida (2021), the Texas power crisis (2021), and Hurricane Ian (2022).

Thomas has been involved in numerous major loss assignments throughout the United States and has consulted on large complex insurance losses, including malls, apartment complexes, universities, commercial buildings, churches, warehouses, and residential buildings.
