Shawn Leland is an Assistant Vice President specializing in construction estimating, claim cost analysis, and on-site project monitoring. Shawn has over ten years of experience in the construction and consulting field. Shawn has consulted on many loss assignments throughout the United States and the Caribbean. He is experienced in consulting on high-end residential homes and complex insurance losses, including large apartment complexes, condominiums, churches, hospitals, restaurants, power plants, office parks, golf courses, ski resorts, sports complexes, military bases, and manufacturing plants. Shawn has experience in damages due to water, fire, hurricanes, hail, freezes, collapse, and explosions.
Prior to J.S. Held, Shawn was a carpenter for eight years with ALC Construction, where he was involved with the design, planning, and construction of residential and commercial projects in New York.
Shawn is responsible for detailed estimating, project management, emergency services invoice reviews, cost analysis, and onsite project monitoring. He also manages teams for large/multi-location projects.
