Scott West brings more than 20 years of experience in the construction and mitigation world to his role as Senior Consultant at J.S. Held LLC.
Prior to joining J.S. Held in 2016, Scott worked as an estimator and project manager on fire and water-damage losses in residential and commercial settings. He has also aided insurance adjusters in determining causation in water losses and in vetting scope of repairs for fire and water projects large and small.
Scott gained extensive experience in water mitigation, mold and asbestos remediation during the last 5 years. His knowledge of commercial and residential construction provides him an insight into structural drying and building components in diverse building types. He is certified in asbestos and hazardous materials abatement, including mold, meth lab and HAZWOPER clean-up protocols.
