As a roofing expert, he has extensive knowledge of various styles of roofing assemblies for commercial and residential applications. He has experience providing roof repair evaluations, damage assessment reports, and identifying deficiencies due to installation or manufacturing.
Prior to joining J.S. Held, he was the Director of Operations & Lead Estimator for a nationally-ranked contracting business. He also spent two years as a property claims adjuster, gaining extensive insurance claims experience involving various losses such as fire, wind, water, flood, vandalism, theft, and hail.
Roy is involved in estimating, loss assessment, onsite project monitoring, and construction consulting. He has extensive involvement in numerous major loss assignments throughout the United States and has consulted on large complex insurance losses, including hotels and condominium complexes.
