She has worked as a project engineer, managing project scheduling, cost estimation, and budgeting in addition to the implementation of diverse projects in construction, water resources, and environmental projects.
Raya is proficient in English, French, and Arabic and was part of projects spanning the Middle East, Africa, Europe, and North America. Raya has worked as a field engineer supervising and coordinating between architectural and civil departments as well as coordinating construction at the site.
Raya also has experience as a structural design engineer designing reinforced concrete structures, inspecting structural work, and performing quantities takeoff for cost estimation.
Raya possesses strong research skills obtained from working on different research projects in the field of water resources engineering, agriculture, and ecology during her professional life and higher education.
She has been involved as a consultant in delay analysis, scheduling and schedule analysis, loss of productivity, impact of change orders, and quantification of additional costs and damages. Raya has also been engaged in the evaluation and reporting of construction claims throughout Quebec, Ontario, and Western Canada.
