Prior to joining J.S. Held, Patrick was in the restoration/construction industry as the sole owner of a full-service restoration, reconstruction, and roofing firm. Patrick brings a vast range of experience, professional knowledge, and a profound understanding of residential, commercial, industrial, and healthcare projects to J.S. Held to solve complex issues and conflicts. His varied experiences have provided him with a balanced perspective and in-depth knowledge of the loss process.
Patrick has been involved in all phases of catastrophic loss, disaster restoration, loss damage assessment, building valuation, and reconstruction. He has consulted on large complex insurance losses throughout the United States, including high-value/high-net-worth residential homes, educational institutions, medical facilities, and commercial and industrial buildings. His hands-on experience and prior management skills in the restoration industry have given Patrick the keen ability to quickly and accurately assess any condition to solve problems.
Patrick has a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and has also earned a Master of Business Administration.
Patrick is also a United States Marine Corps Veteran, having served during Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm and Operation Enduring Freedom/Operation Iraqi Freedom (OEF/OIF). Patrick continues to serve faithfully in the United States Marine Corps Reserve as a Chief Warrant Officer 5, Logistics/Mobility Officer, just recently surpassing 33 years of military service.
