Sabbir is a licensed Professional Engineer with more than four years of experience since graduating with a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering, a Master of Science degree in Structural Engineering, and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. His expertise includes structural health assessment, structural analysis and design, and corrosion durability assessment. His past assignments have included structural evaluation of residential and commercial buildings, corrosion assessment of concrete and steel structures, structural analysis and design of buildings, and structural materials evaluations. During his graduate and postdoctoral study, he was extensively involved working in projects funded by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) where he was responsible for structural assessment due to corrosion damage.
Sabbir conducts forensic engineering investigations for structural damage analysis, including damage from wind, hail, settlement, corrosion spalling, and water. Sabbir is also involved in the structural analysis of single, multi-family, and commercial structures, applying the scientific principles obtained from his academic and practical experiences. He also prepares the forensic engineering report, remediation proposal, and cost estimates to support the litigation work.
