Leonel is an electrical engineer with more than 16 years of experience, using his extensive knowledge of electrical systems in the electrical consultant field, also as the basis for his professional development in the fire investigation field. His experience covers a wide range of activities, highlighting the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of industrial electrical installations, distribution networks, electrical generation, operational audit of maintenance processes, purchases, warehouse, and electrical installations. Throughout his career, he has worked for several national and internationally renowned companies such as Ford Motor Company, Industrias Peñoles, and Envista Forensics. He is the only Fire Investigator in Mexico with three current certificates, “Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator (CFEI-NAFI)”, "Fire Investigator Technician (FIT-IAAI)" and “Evidence Collection Technician (ECT-IAAI).

Leonel is at the forefront of the electrical consulting and fire and explosion investigation service lines, using his experience and knowledge to lead a leading multidisciplinary group of consultants in Latin America.

He specializes in fire and explosion scene investigations and is responsible for investigating fire and explosion incidents in commercial, residential, industrial facilities, energy facilities, automobiles, and heavy equipment.

He also specializes in electrical losses, including any size or type of electrical equipment of any industry, including energy facilities, generation and distribution of energy, automotive, metallurgy, and mining.
