Kevin Gorsline joined J.S. Held in October 2022 following J.S. Held's acquisition of TBG Security. As the Chief Operating Officer and Head of the Risk and Compliance practice at TBG Security, Kevin Gorsline was responsible for providing the leadership, management, and vision necessary to ensure that TBG Security had the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and people systems in place to grow the organization effectively and to ensure financial strength and operating efficiency. Kevin was with TBG for the past 14 years and brought more than 20 years of experience to TBG. His experience and leadership have been focused on developing and delivering information security services and solutions, providing outstanding client service, and driving profitable revenue growth.
Before joining TBG Security, Mr. Gorsline was the Director of Consulting Services for Alliance Consulting. As Director, Kevin developed and implemented a Program Management Office and Project Management methodology for Alliance Consulting to manage the delivery of programs/projects across the organization. Kevin also led the team responsible for developing the Dun & Bradstreet website revitalization efforts that spanned both US offshore resources across multiple offices in India.
Prior to his experience at Alliance Consulting, Kevin served as a CTO for an eLearning startup developing the first IMS compliance learning management system in the US which was later acquired by Houghton Mifflin. Before his Alliance position Kevin led the Business Development efforts for a German SaaS ticketing service (Gaudia.com) and was instrumental in bringing the platform to the US market. Kevin also served as a Senior Consultant at Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) overseeing large scale programs such as the USPS network operations center build out, the IRS rearchitecting program, Dupont’s year 2k projects as well as assisting in course development for CSC’s Program Management methodology. Kevin also served as the Managing Director, Applications for the Massachusetts Trial Courts architecting and implementing their warrant and case management systems.
Established proficiency as an IT leader with extensive experience in risk and compliance services, applications development and implementation projects both in the US and abroad. Vast experience spans start-ups, 'dotcoms', mergers and acquisitions, mature companies, and business turnarounds. Results-driven executive with firm convictions around solutions-led approach to the market with exposure across multiple industries (retail, financial, life sciences, manufacturing and government).
