Jon has held senior delivery roles for main contractors and client consultants and is qualified in building surveying, project management, planning, and project controls.
Prior to joining J.S. Held, Jon was the UK planning and scheduling service lead for water, energy, and nuclear sectors at a global engineering consultancy. He has a diverse skill set including tender and site-based planning for major projects, project controls management and delay expert witness and expert advisory services for contentious matters of project delay.
Adept in the preparation, analysis, and resolution of extension of time claims, Jon has comprehensive experience managing NEC contract programs for client and contractor parties; with experience with JCT, FIDIC, and ICC contract forms.
He has provided planning assurance and due diligence services to key national infrastructure clients and undertaken Quantitative Schedule Risk Analysis (QSRA) reviews on major complex schemes.
Jon has implemented project control solutions in complex portfolio environments to improve scope management, cost management, EVM, planning, change control, and reporting. He is also a competent trainer of clients, team members, and supply chain partners in specialist areas including planning, project controls, EVM, Primavera P6, and Primavera Risk Analysis.
Jon has diverse project experience spanning numerous sectors, clients, geographies, contract forms, and construction types.
