James Raeburn has extensive experience in the areas of forensic electrical engineering to resolve disputes and address technical issues for the insurance and legal communities. As an Electrical Engineer for 32 years, James has tested and evaluated products for potential hazards and has investigated more than 1,500 losses including fires, electrical injuries, product and construction defects, equipment damage, explosions, system failures, utility incidents, and vehicular systems. He has testified frequently as an expert witness at trial, deposition, and arbitration. He performs fire investigation support, analysis of electrical injuries, product and construction defects, and vehicular systems.

James Raeburn is involved in forensic investigation of electrical losses including site and evidence inspections, project management, repair estimating, and onsite project monitoring. He has extensive involvement in numerous major loss assignments throughout the United States and has consulted on large complex insurance losses, including fires, explosions, electrocutions and electrical injuries, and system and equipment failures.
