Prior to joining J.S. Held, Jeff served as an Analyst at Capital Forensics, Inc. (CFI). He began his career at CFI in 2011, where his focus has been on the ArbSelector® (a proprietary report/tool designed to assist legal counsel with ranking arbitrators in FINRA arbitrations) and the ArbReporter® (a weekly publication detailing the prior week’s FINRA awards, which is sent to 1500+ industry professionals.) Throughout Jeff’s career with CFI, he developed and strengthened skills in many different areas, including data analytics, presenting to new and prospective clients, SQL databasing, client support, process mapping & improvement, and Microsoft Power BI reporting. Jeff works closely with CFI’s clients on a regular basis to ensure their specific needs are met with respect to deadlines and report customizations.
Jeff is involved in all aspects of the ArbSelector® project, including data entry, data validation, client relations, marketing, tutorial presentations for new and prospective clients, large-scale ad-hoc data analyses, billing, product development, and more. He also distributes the ArbReporter® weekly publication to over 1,500 industry professionals. Jeff’s role in a Mock Arbitration includes identifying FINRA arbitrators for the mock and contacting the arbitrators, and he has also been on-site at the mock providing general assistance to our clients.
