Jay Pliez has over 20 years of experience in the construction industry and is an expert in water and fire restoration. He has extensive experience restoring commercial and residential buildings damaged by nature, water, fire, or accidents, as well as hotel and high-rise flood emergencies. He also brings to the table experience in performing and managing high-end residential remodeling and multilevel commercial and high-rise building maintenance.
Prior to J.S. Held, Jay held the position of Superintendent and was the head of the production for a water and fire damage restoration company.His keen attention to detail and strong work ethic proved critical in the successful restoration of several projects, including, but not limited to, fire-damaged apartment complexes, multifamily condo dwellings, and private residences.
Since joining J.S. Held, Jay has worked on many water and fire damage projects. These projects include warehouses, commercial buildings, apartment complexes, and high-end residences. Jay was also involved in Houston, Texas, during Hurricane Harvey, performing multiple site inspections, documenting damage, job site monitoring, invoice review, and producing repair estimates.
Jay has a vast knowledge of all construction trades and holds a General Contractor's license in the state of California. He also has experience with commercial building maintenance programs and procedures. Jay is a certified water damage restoration and mold remediation technician and has successfully supervised numerous projects.
