Gerardo has over eight years of experience working as a technical advisor in the attention and valuation of damages in civil works for the insurance sector. He has participated in different areas of the market at the commercial, industrial, tourism, residential, and infrastructure levels. Gerardo has worked with various teams involved with the attention of claims, integration of unit costs of the market, quantification of damages, and the analysis and processing of information obtained to establish criteria for resolving each case.

Gerardo has also participated in various catastrophic events such as Hurricane Odile (2014) in the city of Los Cabos, state of Baja California Sur, Mexico and the earthquake of September 19, 2017, affecting various buildings in the Greater Mexico City area. Additionally, he participated in the development of unit costs for the economic proposal of the New International Airport of Mexico City (Nuevo Aeropuerto Internacional de la Ciudad de México / NAICM).

Finally, prior to his time as a technical advisor, Gerardo worked on various supervision and construction projects in the education sector.
