Andrew Hennemuth is a Senior Managing Director, Regional Practice Lead for the Builder’s Risk team at J.S. Held. Andrew has been a construction professional for over twenty years and has extensive experience with project management, general contracting, and construction consulting. Since joining J.S. Held, Andrew has consulted on a variety of complex projects throughout the United States and Canada with a concentration on construction scheduling, cost evaluation, and project planning.
Prior to joining J.S. Held, Andrew was a Senior Construction Manager for one of Washington, DC’s largest developers, where he was responsible for preconstruction, contract negotiation, on-site management, change orders/claims negotiation and resolution, and schedule and budget management. In addition, Andrew’s previous body of work includes eleven years of project management for two of the DC area’s top general contractors. Andrew is directly responsible for construction in excess of $250M throughout his career.
Andrew’s experience in the construction industry demonstrates a proven track record of successful projects and provides a deep knowledge base for the large and complex builder’s risk losses that he manages for the Builder’s Risk team daily.
Andrew specializes in the analysis of complex claims for all types of projects under construction. These projects involve review of claimed costs, delay analysis of claimed delays, and development of expert reports. Andrew also has expertise managing large and complex property damage claims. As regional lead, Andrew oversees builder’s risk operations in the Northeast, Mid-Central, and North Central U.S.
