Andrei Jilaveanu joined J.S. Held in August of 2022 following J.S. Held's acquisition of the Arcadis Contract Solutions Practice in Europe. Andrei is a Senior Planner with a background with wide-ranging experience in delivering complex and time-sensitive projects including building, rail, and roads, in the UK and international construction. Andrei has an academic background in structural engineering, has previously held senior professional roles with tier-one contractors, and offered expert planning advice. He commenced his career working for the Investor as a client-side project engineer before joining a reputable contractor.
With significant knowledge of construction operations and processes, Andrei gained experience while working for contractors, consultants, and client organizations. This gives him a fine ability to understand the technical and contractual constraints and to analyze the issues from multiple perspectives.
As a Planning Engineer and Senior Planner, Andrei gained considerable experience in the preparation of construction programs using the critical path method, resource scheduling, and cost monitoring. Before joining Arcadis, he held a Senior Planner role on several of the UK’s signature rail, road, and residential projects and has offered expert planning support in claims and disputes. His portfolio includes projects in UK, Europe, and Asia.
Andrei is involved in the forensic investigation of delays and disruptions affecting major construction and infrastructure projects. He has a deep understanding of construction site operations with wide-ranging experience in delivering complex and time-sensitive projects including building, rail, and roads. He gained experience while working for contractors, consultants, and client organizations, both in the UK and internationally.
