Alexis is a forensic accounting consultant providing investigative accounting support services. She has diversified experience in business interruption, extra expenses, inventory losses, litigation support, and property damage claims.
Alexis has worked on various losses, ranging from small businesses to large multi-national corporations. She has experience in a wide variety of industries, including hospitality, restaurants, retail, large apartment complexes, healthcare, manufacturing, telecommunications, and universities.
Prior to joining J. S. Held, Alexis earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and a minor in Forensic Accounting from Widener University in Chester, PA. During her time at Widener, Alexis was a member of the Varsity Softball program and was named to several All-Conference, All-Area, All-District, All-Region, and All-America teams for her combined performances in the classroom and athletically. She was also the female recipient of the George and Sis Hansell Scholar-Athlete Award, awarded to the top male and female seniors deemed outstanding in scholarship and athletics.
Alexis also earned her master’s degree in Accounting in an accelerated program at Northeastern University in Boston, MA. During her academic career at Northeastern, Alexis worked part-time as a staff forensic accountant at Magnan Graizzaro & Associates CPAS, LLC, where she began her professional career full-time upon graduation.
