Albert J. Mink is an expert in managing companies that are experiencing explosive growth or are in need of a turnaround or reorganization. Albert has a strong background in accounting and financial management, operations analysis, mergers and acquisitions, recapitalizations, bankruptcies, information technologies, and fraud investigations.
During his time at Phoenix Management, since early 1990, Albert was engaged as an interim CFO or CRO for public and private sector companies. Albert has managed more than 50 successful interim CFO engagements for middle market companies in manufacturing, distribution, and service industries located in the United States, Canada, Mainland China, Hong Kong, England, Bermuda, and Europe.
Albert has established or reestablished accounting and finance functions, established accounting and reporting systems, budget systems, and cash management systems. He has implemented new enterprise systems, inventory control systems, and updated cost accounting systems. He has restaffed accounting departments and assisted companies in recruiting permanent CFOs. Albert has negotiated new financing lines and made presentations on operating results to both PC owners and financial institutions
In addition, Albert has prepared fraud assessments, implemented anti-fraud measures, conducted fraud investigations, and provided litigation support and expert testimony in both criminal and civil fraud cases.
Prior to joining Phoenix Management Services, Albert held management-level positions in Fortune 500 companies, including American Airlines and City Investing (a $15 billion publicly held diversified conglomerate). He started his career with Price Waterhouse and Co. (now PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP).
He holds an MBA in Finance from Seton Hall University and an Advanced Certificate in Information Technologies Management from New York University.
